The Michigan Department of Education is doing a great job managing all of the various influences upon the State Social Studies Standards Revision Project.

Of course, many might be wondering why it might be taking so long. Well, the nature of the content itself is enough to justify the length of the project. Then, you realize not only is the content about people, but people are involved in the revision. 🙂

The next step is a public review of the latest revisions which will be made available at the beginning of April. The link will be shared and you will have the opportunity to provide feedback!
