Performance Assessment for Social Studies Thinking (PASST) is a collaboration of educators across the state of Michigan who have taken part in assessment development training to create a series of next generation assessments for Social Studies that measure both the content set forth by the Michigan Content Expectations and the skills stressed in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and the College, Career, and Civic Life (C3) Framework.
Genesee ISD will be offering an opportunity this school year for Social Studies educators to be trained in assessment item development and take advantage of collaborative work time to produce assessment items. Here is the link to the flyer that provides more information and the link to registration.
