This last week I was blessed to have the opportunity to attend the MACUL 2016 conference in Grand Rapids and I wish all educators who are interested in learning more about technology could attend.

During the pre-conference I attended a session titled, “Strategic Thinking – Your Next Formative Assessment.” Heidi Gascon (@HeidiGascon) and Andrew Shauver (@hs_math_phys) from Ingham ISD presented some ideas about how to increase student engagement through formative assessment. Some of the time was spent with participants crowdsourcing their ideas into a Google Slides file that is still available.
